About

[Placeholder — your background goes here.] I'm a designer working in southeast Los Angeles County, focused on the housing stock most people overlook: 1940s–1960s tract homes, ranches and bungalows in Whittier and the cities around it.

I built Old House SoCal because first-time owners kept asking the same thing — "what could this actually look like?" — and the honest answer used to require a paid design engagement before you saw a single image. Now you can see a direction in seconds, for free, and bring something concrete to your contractor instead of a mood board of Scandinavian apartments.

The renderings are inspiration, not construction documents. They're deliberately tuned to real post-war SoCal proportions: modest ceilings, small kitchens, stucco and plaster, and the good light we take for granted here.
